I can remember
When I was a little girl
With pretty, pink dresses
And little white bows

My Dad would throw me up in the air
I felt like I would never come down
I knew he would always catch me
Safe and sound

The day we went to the beach
My Dad by my side
I didn't know it would be the last
What started out so fun and innocent
Turned into a past

That night my Dad tucked me into bed
